- The students in the GED/HSED program range in age from 17 to 64.
- Over half of our students are between the ages of 18 and 24.
- Most of our GED/HSED students left school between 9th and 12th grade.
- Most students last attended school in Wisconsin.
- The number of male and female students is almost equally divided.
- Approximately two-thirds of our GED/HSED students are Caucasian.
- Approximately one-third or our students are made up of various ethnic minorities.
- Approximately one quarter of Omega's students have special needs (various
barriers to participation, including limited access to transportation, physical handicaps,
learning disabilities, mental/emotional difficulties, substance abuse issues, or involvement in the correctional system, etc.)
